What is SSC CHSL?

SSC CHSL stands for “Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level” examination. It is a competitive examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of India to recruit candidates for various clerical and assistant-level positions in government departments and ministries.

The SSC CHSL exam is conducted annually and is open to candidates who have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board or university.

The Tier I exam is common for all the above-mentioned posts, while the Tier II exam is a descriptive paper that candidates have to write in either English or Hindi.
