What is SBI PO Exam?
SBI PO (State Bank of India Probationary Officer) exam is a competitive exam conducted by the State Bank of India to recruit eligible candidates for the position of Probationary Officer in its various branches across India. SBI PO Eligibility Criteria

- Age Limit: The candidate must be between 21 years to 30 years of age as on April 1 of the year of application. However, there is age relaxation for candidates belonging to certain categories as per government rules.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the central government.
- Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Number of Attempts: The number of attempts for the SBI PO exam is limited to 4 for General category candidates, 7 for OBC category candidates, and unlimited for SC/ST/PwD category candidates.

- The SBI PO Mains exam is conducted online.
- The questions are of objective type (MCQs) except for the Descriptive Test.
- Each objective question carries 1 mark and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- The Descriptive Test is a written test conducted in English Language to test the candidates’ writing skills. The test carries 50 marks and the time duration is 30 minutes.
- The candidates who qualify in the Mains exam will be eligible to appear for the Group Exercise and Interview.

Selection Process
The selection process for IBPS RRB comprises three stages – Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, and Interview.
Candidates who clear the Preliminary Exam are eligible to appear for the Mains Exam. Candidates who clear the Mains Exam are called for the Interview round.
SBI PO Interview Stage Details
Group Exercise: This stage involves group discussions and tasks to test the candidates’ communication and teamwork skills.
Interview: Candidates who clear the Group Exercise stage will be called for a personal interview. This stage aims to assess the candidates’ personality, communication skills, and ability to handle pressure.
