Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01.09.2025):
- Office Assistant: 18 – 28 years
- Officer Scale I: 18 – 30 years
- Officer Scale II: 21 – 32 years
- Officer Scale III: 21 – 40 years
Educational Qualification:
- Office Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline + local language proficiency.
- Officer Scale I: Bachelor’s degree with preference for Agriculture, IT, Law, Management, Economics, Accountancy.
- Officer Scale II & III: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks + relevant work experience.
Nationality: Indian Citizen or persons of Indian origin as specified by IBPS.
Category-wise Age Relaxation: Provided as per government norms.

Salary Details for RRB Officers and Office Assistants
Officers Scale I (Assistant Managers)
- Initial salary range approx. ₹74,000 – ₹77,000 in-hand monthly, including allowances.
- Salary increases with experience and seniority.
- Permanent after probation period.
- Includes Basic Pay, DA, HRA, and other allowances.
Officers Scale II (Managers) and Scale III (Senior Managers)
- Scale II salary approx. ₹65,000 to ₹67,000+, based on experience and specialization.
- Scale III salary approx. ₹80,000 to ₹90,000+ including perks.
