What is MAH CET Exam?

MAH CET stands for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, which is a state-level entrance exam conducted annually in the state of Maharashtra, India. The exam is designed for admission to postgraduate management programs such as MBA, MMS, PGDM, and other courses offered by various management institutes in Maharashtra.

The exam assesses a candidate’s aptitude in areas such as reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and verbal ability. The exam is conducted online and has a duration of 150 minutes. MAH CET scores are accepted by over 300 management institutes in Maharashtra, including top B-Schools.

To be eligible for the MAH CET exam, a candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates). The MAH CET exam is one of the most popular state-level entrance exams in India for MBA aspirants.

CAP Process of MH CET

  • Registration for CAP: Candidates who have qualified in MH CET MBA exam need to register for CAP process by filling the online application form.
  • Document Verification: Candidates are required to visit the designated facilitation centers for document verification. They need to carry all the necessary documents, such as educational certificates, domicile certificate, caste certificate, MH CET MBA admit card, scorecard, etc.
  • Display of Provisional Merit List: After the document verification, the provisional merit list will be displayed on the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
  • Submission of Grievances: Candidates can submit their grievances if any, regarding the merit list within the specified time period.
  • Display of Final Merit List: After considering the grievances, if any, the final merit list will be displayed on the official website.
  • Choice Filling and Confirmation: Candidates need to fill in their choices of colleges and courses in the order of their preference. They can also modify their choices within the specified time period. Once the choices are finalized, they need to confirm their choices.
  • Seat Allotment: Based on the candidates’ ranks in the merit list, availability of seats, and their choices, seats will be allotted to the candidates.
  • Reporting to the Allotted College: After the seat allotment process, candidates need to report to the allotted college within the specified time period, pay the admission fee, and complete the admission formalities.
