The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to activate the SSC CGL Tier 1 2018 Admit Card link soon. However, as per the “Revised Annual Calendar of Examinations” – posted on the official website (ssc.nic.in), the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination has been delayed.
Earlier, the SSC CGL Tier I Exam 2018 was expected to begin from July 25 and go on till August 20, 2018. The new examination dates have not been updated on the calendar. The column under the examination date, in front of the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination row reads “To be notified later (CBE)”.
It is expected that the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 exam Admit Card will be uploaded any time from now on the SSC’s official websites ssconline.nic.in and ssc.nic.in.
Candidates, who have applied for the SSC CGL Tier 1 examination, are advised to keep checking the official website for updates at regular intervals.
All candidates whose online applications are found to be in order will be called to appear in the Tier-I Computer Based Examination. Admit Cards for calling candidates to appear in Tier-I as well as all subsequent tiers/ stages of examination will not be sent by post.
Admit Cards for all stages of examination will be issued online on the websites of concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office of the Commission. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the websites of the Commission Headquarters (i.e. www.ssc.nic.in) and concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional office of the Commission i.e. the website of Regional/ Sub-Regional Office under whose jurisdiction the examination centres opted by the candidate is located.
Admit Cards/ Admission Certificates (ACs) for the Examination will be uploaded on the website of the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office of the Commission. Admit Cards will not be issued by post for any stage of examination.
Applicants are expected to download the admit card which would have the date, time and venue of the examination centre allotted to them. They are also requested to carry at least two copies of the same.
It may be noted that the SSC CGL online registration process was started from May 5, 2018 and closed on June 5, 2018. SSC holds CGL examination every year for Group “B” and Group “C” posts in various ministries, departments and organisations in the Government of India.
As many people have already told this, SSC, in a recent RTI reply confirmed that the SSC CGL Tier-1 has been delayed. Vendor has not been decided yet. I dont think it will be conducted before October 2018.
-lets assusme it takes them 7 more days to decide the vendor
- Vendor will futher take one month to set the paper for CPO and CGL
- SSC will book the labs for CPO
- CPO admit cards out one week prior to exam
- CPO gets conducted in one week
- Labs for CGL are booked
- CGL admit cards are out
- FINALLY, CGL gets conducted.
Now you can figure out how much time it will take for them to conduct it. The time may vary but in my view, cgl is not going to commence before first week of October.
