  • Investment in Safety: ₹1.14 lakh crore allocated for railway safety enhancements.
  • Kavach Automatic Train Protection (ATP) System: Expanded implementation covering over 1,465 km to prevent collisions and accidents.
  • Better Surveillance: AI-based CCTV monitoring systems at stations and inside trains for improved security.

5. Freight & Logistics Improvements

  • Lower Freight Costs: Reduction in freight charges for agricultural and small-scale industries to promote economic growth.
  • Private Sector Participation: Encouraging private investment in logistics parks and freight corridors.
