In a landmark development aimed at strengthening India’s national security ecosystem, Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Alwar, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance training, research, and academic collaboration in the field of national security, law enforcement, and border management. This strategic partnership marks a new chapter for integrating practical training with advanced academic learning, empowering security forces with modern skills and knowledge to tackle evolving challenges.

Strengthening the Nexus of Field Experience and Academic Excellence

Rashtriya Raksha University, India’s premier institution dedicated to education and research in security, policing, cybersecurity, and strategic studies, now partners with SSB Alwar—a crucial border security force responsible for guarding India’s borders with Nepal and Bhutan, countering cross-border crimes, smuggling, and other anti-national activities. The MoU facilitates credit-based academic certifications for SSB trainees and the introduction of innovative training programs that blend theoretical frameworks with real-world security operations.

With over 900 trainees at the SSB Alwar center undergoing rigorous field and promotional training, this collaboration will provide them access to cutting-edge curricula, research opportunities, and development initiatives spearheaded by RRU.
