RBI Assistant Exam 2023

The exam is conducted in three stages – Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

RBI Assistant- Eligibility Criteria 2023

Nationality:

To be eligible, a candidate must be one of the following:

(a) an Indian citizen;

(b) a subject of Nepal;

(c) a subject of Bhutan;

(d) a Tibetan refugee who entered India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling there permanently; or

e) a person of Indian ancestry who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African nations of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, with the intention of settling permanently in India.

Age Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the RBI Assistant exam include:

  • minimum age- 20 years
  • maximum age- 28 years
  • a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Candidates who successfully clear all the stages of the exam are eligible for appointment as an Assistant in the Reserve Bank of India.

Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

The main online examination’s provisionally shortlisted applicants will have to take a language competence test (LPT). RBI Assistant- Salary 2023
