XAT 2025 Cut Off: Key Determining Factors
The XAT cutoff percentiles for XLRI admissions are influenced by several factors, with one of the most crucial being the candidate’s academic and demographic profile. This is why the XAT cutoffs vary across different categories — such as engineering vs non-engineering backgrounds, and male vs female candidates. These variations are aimed at promoting classroom diversity in management programs.
Below are the eight major factors that play a role in determining the XAT 2025 cutoffs:
- Total number of candidates appearing for the XAT exam in 2025
- Difficulty level of the XAT question paper
- Number of available seats for admission under each program
- Average and highest XAT scores achieved in the given year
- Overall performance trend of candidates in XAT 2025
- Cutoff trends from previous years
- Average percentile scores based on gender
- Average percentile scores based on academic stream (engineering/non-engineering)
Note: XAT-participating institutes may apply additional parameters when setting their individual MBA course cutoffs. Each institute sets its cutoffs independently based on its internal admission criteria.
