The total number of vacancies for NDA 2025 is 406, distributed as follows:
- National Defence Academy: 370 vacancies
- Army: 208 (including 10 for female candidates)
- Navy: 42 (including 12 for female candidates)

- Flying: 92 (including 2 for female candidates)
- Ground Duties (Tech): 18 (including 2 for female candidates)

Eligibility Criteria
A. Nationality
Candidates must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.
B. Educational Qualification
- For Army Wing: Passed or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- For Air Force and Naval Wings: Passed or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics.
C. Age Limit
- NDA 1 2025: Candidates must be born between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009.
- NDA 2 2025: Candidates must be born between January 2, 2007, and January 1, 2010.
D. Marital Status
Candidates must be unmarried.
E. Physical Standards
Candidates must be physically fit as per the standards defined by UPSC. Common disqualifications include:

Selection Process
The selection process comprises two stages:
