Steps to Complete the Online Application form for UPSC IAS 2024:

Part 1

1. Go to the UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

2. In the What’s New section on the homepage, find and click on the link labeled “Exam Notification: Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2024.”

3. Click on the provided link to apply online.

4. Select “Yes” to register for Civil Services Part-l.

5. Carefully fill out Part-l of the application form with all required details, such as your name, date of birth, category, gender, email address, contact information, permanent address, marital status, parents’ names, community, and educational level.

6. After entering all the information, click “Continue.” Review every detail in the online form, and when satisfied, click the “Submit” button.

Steps for Completing UPSC Application Form Part 2:

1. Payment of Application Fee: You can pay the UPSC application fee offline (in cash using an SBI bank challan) or online (using SBI Net Banking, a debit card, or a credit card). All candidates are required to pay Rs 100/-; however, female candidates, SC, ST, and PwBD applicants are exempt from payment.

2. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and photo ID card, ensuring they meet UPSC’s specified dimensions.

3. Provide Exam Location and Fee Payment Details: Enter the examination center location and relevant information regarding fee payment.

4. Agree to Terms: After reading the statement, click on the “I Agree” button.
